Anyone else find MAPK14 or p38 alpha difficult to recombinantly express at high titer levels? When p38 is folded and active, it seems to slow cell life cycle and decrease expression. Any thoughts?

where are you tryin to express it bacteria or cells? If it's bacteria, try this product, ir helps: http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/etc/mediali ... -media.pdf

If it's cells, well you're right, p38 screws up g2 to M transition, and proliferation sucks :(
